Memories of Angela Smith

She was so faithful to pray for others

Natasha

Angela is one of the most giving people I’ve met. She was always there to help when there was a needy situation, even to her own hurt. She had such a love for people and showed that love in so many ways—going out of her way to do things for them, keeping in close contact with them, sending and giving gifts when she could, and most of all in praying for them.

She was so faithful to pray for others. It wasn’t unusual to be talking to Angela and hear often, “Oh, we need to keep so-and-so in our prayers because of such-and-such.” She had great faith in prayer, which has made a big impression in my life, along with her caring way towards others.

Her zeal for life was very infectious and she had a knack to make things very fun. I loved her laugh and she was constantly smiling and giving hugs.

She had a special gift with children so that they would be excited to learn something. She wasn’t just a textbook teacher, but she would research to beef up the lessons and use props as well.

Angela was a dear friend, someone who has touched my life in a special way, and I pray I can be a continuation of her love for life and others. I miss her greatly, but I am very happy that she is now receiving her Heavenly reward and is free at last.
